Piano Movers

Episode #54 (4.4)
Broadcast Date: November 4, 1988

Story Date: One day
My Rating: 8

Balki volunteers to do a "small" favor for Lydia--move a piano up to her apartment on the tenth floor.

Nitpicks

The piano fell out of the window on the fifth floor. That would probably be twelve meters above the ground. The piano took six seconds to hit the ground. The relationship of the time an object falls to its velocity is D=˝gT˛, where D is distance g is the gravitational constant, 9.82, and T is time in seconds. When T equals 6 seconds, D equals 174 meters.

At the end of the episode, Balki said Harriette was moving into their building. In "Family Matters" the whole family was living in a house and it didn't look like they had been living in an apartment.

    Quotes

Balki: Cousin, did Stephen King ever write anything about a piano?

Balki: That's very fortunate Ms. Lydia, because the piano now gas a striking resemblence to a pile of Lincoln Logs.
