Balki finds Lydia a man off the street, when he then realizes that he's a gigolo, Larry feels that pretending that he is a rich woman is the only way to show Lydia the truth.
Jack Colpey, the gigolo, is Mr. Gorpley's hero.
Gorpley: He gets women to give him clothes, cash, and cars. The man's been married four times and has two ex-wives paying him alomony.
Larry: The man's a gigolo.
Gorpley: Yeah. He's my hero.
